Join us for a SPECIAL combined

"Labor on the Bimah" program and Selichot service

We will begin the evening with a barbeque dinner at 7:30 PM

This year, we have the opportunity to acknowledge that “AVODAH” means both worship and work by connecting them in a meaningful Labor Day weekend experience. We will begin the evening by coming together for a congregational barbeque dinner followed by our annual "Labor on the Bimah" program at 8:30 PM and concluding with Selichot, the late night penitential service that opens the High Holy Day season at 10:00 PM.

Our “Labor on the Bimah” speaker Deborah Berkowitz, Chief of Staff for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration presents:

Protecting Worker Health:

A View from the Inside

Deborah Berkowitz has spent over 25 years spearheading campaigns for critical safety and health standards, developing and directing effective national health and safety programs, negotiating landmark agreements with industry and government and providing expert technical assistance.
